Five questions. We show the air-volume math, the unit that fits, and when one unit is not enough.
How we size
Air volume, not floor area.
Floor area times ceiling height gives the air you are scenting. We recommend a unit when your space uses up to 80% of its rated volume, so it never runs flat out. One HVAC unit only scents what its air handler supplies.

Questions about sizing.
Why do you ask for ceiling height?
Scent fills air, not floor. A 2,000 ft² lobby with a 20 ft ceiling holds twice the air of the same lobby at 10 ft, so it needs twice the capacity. Our coverage figures are in cubic feet for that reason.
Why one unit per air handler?
An HVAC-connected unit only reaches the rooms its air handler supplies. A building with three air handlers needs a unit on each one it wants scented.
What if the result says 'works, at higher settings'?
Your space is between 80% and 100% of the unit's rated volume. It will do the job, running nearer the top of its range. If the doors stand open a lot or you want a stronger scent, take the next size up.
My space is bigger than 180,000 ft³.
Then it takes more than one unit, or one per air handler. Talk to us and we will size it with you.
How much oil will I use?
It depends on the level you run, the hours and the fragrance. Oil comes in 100, 250 and 500 ml, and auto-refill is coming soon. Ask us and we will suggest a size for your schedule.
