Commercial restrooms
Commercial bathroom air freshener that does not smell like an air freshener.
No aerosol cans, no canisters to order, no hiss every fifteen minutes. A small wall unit on a schedule, or a dollar a day and we look after it.
The short answer
What is the best commercial bathroom air freshener?
For a restroom up to about 400 sq ft, the NL360 Wall Unit from Nēbu 360 replaces the aerosol dispenser: it mounts high on the wall, runs on two D batteries or a USB plug, and diffuses fragrance oil on up to five weekly schedules set from a phone. It costs $110, and a 100 ml bottle of oil ($35) and a set of batteries each last about three months.
In Palm Beach, Broward and Martin counties you can skip buying it: Nēbu 360's Room-by-Room service installs, refills and maintains it for $1 per restroom per day, two rooms minimum.
Side by side
How does it compare with an aerosol dispenser?
Most restrooms already have something on the wall. Here is what changes.
| Aerosol dispenser | Gel or passive cartridge | NL360 cold-air unit | |
|---|---|---|---|
| How scent arrives | A wet burst on a timer | Evaporates constantly | A fine dry mist on a schedule |
| Strength over time | Spikes, then fades | Strong when new, faint by week three | Nine levels, held steady |
| Runs when closed | Usually, unless you buy a light sensor model | Always | No: up to five weekly schedules |
| Residue | Can settle on mirrors and counters | None | No water, no heat, no wet spray |
| What you reorder | Cans, often brand-locked | Cartridges | One 100 ml bottle about every three months |

Placement
Where should it go in a restroom?
High on the wall, out of reach, near the return vent or on the wall opposite the entrance so air carries the scent across the room. Not directly over a sink or hand dryer, which pushes it straight back out.
One unit covers a restroom up to about 400 sq ft. A large multi-stall room in a stadium, airport or mall usually needs two, or an N250 Wall Mount (500 ml, up to 42,500 cu ft) for $799.
Fragrance does not fix a drain or a dirty grout line. Keep cleaning on its schedule, check floor drains and traps, and let the unit keep the room pleasant between cleans. More on that in commercial air fresheners and odor control.

Questions
Commercial restroom air freshener questions.
How long does the oil last in a commercial bathroom air freshener?
In the NL360 Wall Unit, a 100 ml bottle of Nēbu fragrance oil lasts about three months on a typical business-hours schedule, and the two D batteries last about three to four months. A busier room set to a higher level will use oil faster.
Does it need an outlet?
No. The NL360 runs on two D batteries, or on a USB wall plug where there is an outlet nearby, so it can go wherever the air moves best in the restroom.
Where does it mount, and who controls it?
Mount it high on the wall with the included bracket, out of easy reach. Level and schedule changes are made from the Bluetooth app, so the person who manages the restroom stays in control of how strong it runs.
Will it get rid of a sewer or urine smell?
No fragrance removes the source of an odor. A persistent sewer smell usually means a dry floor drain trap or a plumbing issue, and urine odor lives in grout and floors. Fix and clean first; the scent then keeps the room pleasant between cleanings.
What does the restroom service cost in South Florida?
Nēbu 360's Room-by-Room service is $1 per restroom per day, about $30 a month, with a two-room minimum, in Palm Beach, Broward and Martin counties. It includes the unit, installation, oil refills and battery changes.
